One Plus 8 and One Plus 8 Pro Tipped to Launch in Q2 2020

After the launch of One Plus 7 series, the Chinese manufacturer has started working on the next series, One Plus 8. As per the leaks, it reveals that One Plus 8 Launch Date is in the 2nd quarter of 2020. It is expected to launch between April-June.

The year 2019 started with One Plus 7 Pro for the company, and it was later followed by One Plus 7T and One Plus 7T Pro. There is no further information on the One Plus 8 series launch, but if leaks are true, next in line is the One Plus 8T and One Plus 8T Pro.

OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro specifications

The OnePlus 8 Pro is said to feature a slightly bigger 6.65-inch display, while its younger sibling OnePlus 8 is tipped to have a 6.5-inch screen. OnePlus already confirmed all its future phones will have 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of design, the Alert Slider and Power button will be on the right edge, while the Volume button will be on the left. The USB Type-C port, SIM tray, and redesigned speaker grills are at the bottom. There is only a mic at the top. While the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to measure 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8mm in size, OnePlus 8 has 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.1mm dimensions.

As for the specifications, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro should be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Both the flagships are likely to run Android 10 with OxygenOS skin. There could be 5G variants as well, in addition to 4G.
